Tears in Heaven | Local Aid | Music Video
I got contacted by James - the brainchild of "Live in the Living Room" a fantastic YouTube channel that shows of fantastic singers and songwriters from the UK and USA. James informed me of Local Aid, a band made up of a number of singers and musicians who record song covers to help raise money for charities, which they have been doing since 2012. I was told they are recording Tears In Heaven and they needed a music video. Once I was told about the charity work and the effort they have been putting run since they started, I just could not say no. We spent the day at Magpie Studios Kent who donated their time to help make the record starting the morning session with the Allstar Band* of Joe Martin, Paul Martin and Simon Jackson laying down the track. With the afternoon session dedicated to getting the singers recording their parts for the song. It was a day I really enjoyed and having the chance to capture the whole process of making a song in the studio was amazing.
